About

Hi, I’m Tamara  — multi-passionate Creative and Self-Care Enthusiast from New York, born and raised in the Bronx. I am author of the award winning book, ITGIRL4LIFE: How to bring out your special something and so much more, a self esteem resource for girls all over the world and my latest work, SPRINKLES Poems and Musings on Life, an exploration on themes of oneness, love, change, loss, self awareness, beauty and art.

As a model and commercial actor, I walked the runway for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and many other top designers, co-hosted PBS New York’s education series, “What’s Up in Technology”, and appeared in T.V. commercials and print ads, for brands including: Levi’s, Old Navy, Colgate, Revlon, Hershey’s, Kellogg’s Special K, Bath and Body Works, Hanes, and Nike, to name a few — good times.

I am a Penn State alumnus, lifelong student of personal development, deeply passionate about uplifting the human spirit. My commitment to vibrant health and further education lead me to Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coaching program, where I studied under Deepak Chopra, Dr. Andrew Weil and some of the top health and wellness experts in the world. This experience was grand —a divine immersion of practices and principles for enhanced vigor and vitality.

Facilitating workshops for girls, assisting them on their self empowerment journey is truly a privilege.

The artist in me is blossoming. In this new chapter I am inspired to create in a variety of ways. I am moved to write more books, paint more canvases, tell stories, share poetry, perform and to produce and direct a few films would be an awesome feat to conquer.

Favorite artist right now — Jon Batiste. He makes me want to start a band. I’m obsessed with Afrobeat music out of Nigeria and I love show tunes, yes I do:)

Pure joy activities —  dancing and singing.

Thanks for stopping by.  Keep creating.  Keep pouring in the love.
