Tamara Branch is an award winning author, on a mission to assist girls in unlocking their brilliant potential. ITGIRL4LIFE: How to bring out your special something and so much more, is the first installment in Tamara’s book series, Foundation for Girls, and has become a self-esteem resource for girls all over the world.
Tamara strutted down the runway for Calvin Klein, Donna Karen and Christian Dior, early in her modeling career, co-hosted PBS New York’s education series, “What’s Up in Technology”, and over the years, appeared in T.V. commercials and print ads, for brands including: Levi’s, Old Navy, Colgate, Revlon, Hershey’s, Kellogg’s Special K, Hanes, Nike, AT&T, Pepsi, and many others.
A Penn State alumnus and lifelong student of personal development, Tamara is deeply passionate about uplifting the human spirit. Her commitment to adding more value to her writings and to her own self care practice, lead her to graduate from Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she studied under Deepak Chopra, Dr. Andrew Weil and some of the top health and wellness experts in the world.
Tamara was asked to become a Female Visionary Author guest blogger for The Brave Heart Women Global Community. She’s a SAG/AFTRA member, a member of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is represented by Abrams Artists Agency and CESD.
Tamara is an artist in every sense and brings her creative expression into her self empowerment talks and workshops for girls and women. Screenwriting and performance is the next addition in her artistic journey. She grew up acting, dancing, singing and writing poems and tales. Look out for her upcoming projects. “As a lover of the arts, I have chosen to honor everything that is on my heart to do, just not all at once.” Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Tamara currently resides in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, Theron.
